This session provides an overview of the foundational elements of effective secondary transition. Participants will explore how intentional planning, student voice, and quality transition practices come together to support positive post-school outcomes. The session will include TEA-created training materials covering the development of a coordinated set of activities aligned with transition assessments, post-secondary goals, and annual transition goals, while ensuring students are active participants in the process. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of how these components work together to create meaningful and compliant transition planning.
