Magic Beans & Busy Bees: STEM in the Elementary Science Classroom

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Transform your literacy block into a launchpad for engineering! Join us as we demonstrate how to use narrative anchoring to drive rigorous, hands-on inquiry in the elementary classroom. Using the vertical challenges of Jack and the Beanstalk (Grades K-2) and the ecological stakes of What If There Were No Bees? (Grades 3-5), participants will explore how favorite stories can serve as the "hook" for complex TEA STEM Design Challenges. Come experience how STEM connects academic concepts to problem-solving.
