Workshop Registration Details

Ladies and Gentlemen! Grab your popcorn, cotton candy, and friends, and join us for a limited-time showing of Tackling the TELPAS—where we’ll navigate the big top without getting caught on the tightrope! This session takes TELPAS preparation beyond the last-minute “test prep” scramble and puts the focus where it belongs: in everyday classroom instruction. Across content areas, participants will discover practical ways to build the language students need to demonstrate what they know and can do in listening, speaking, reading, and writing throughout the school year.

We’ll also unpack what TELPAS results can tell us about student performance and campus or district outcomes, consider how technology and assessment resources can support—not replace—strong instruction, and examine ways to make smarter use of released materials. Participants will have opportunities to consider what is currently happening in their classrooms, identify areas for improvement, and leave with practical resources—including ready-to-use slides for student TELPAS Boot Camps—to support a more intentional approach to TELPAS success all year long.
