Workshop Registration Details

Big changes are coming! Beginning in 2026–27, Texas educators will begin implementing the new English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS). This three-part PLC series gives educators dedicated time to unpack the new standards, build their understanding, and explore what they mean for daily instruction.

Across three interactive PLC sessions, participants will dig into the new ELPS, collaborate with colleagues, and use Lead4Ward resources to explore practical applications across content areas. Each session will build on the previous one, moving from understanding the standards to putting them into action through intentional language instruction and support for emergent bilingual students.

By the end of the series, participants will have a stronger understanding of the new ELPS and increased confidence in using them to plan and deliver instruction that supports both content learning and language development. **This training is for Winona Middle School only**
