Future-Ready Social Studies: Using AI to Deepen Thinking

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

AI is rapidly changing how students’ access, interpret, and create information, therefore, it’s more important than ever for social studies classrooms to focus on critical thinking, inquiry, and source evaluation. In this session, teachers will explore practical, classroom-ready strategies for using AI tools to support historical thinking, civic reasoning, and student engagement. Participants will learn how to design meaningful learning experiences that move beyond simple answers to deeper analysis, while also addressing the ethical and instructional implications of AI use. Walk away with ready-to-use ideas that empower students to think, question, and learn in an AI-driven world.
