Counseling as a Related Service: Ethics, Evidence, and Execution 26-27

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This session will explore the unique nature of Special Ed (IEP) counseling and how it differs from the general counseling offered to all students by the school counselor. Evaluation instruments will be used to identify eligibility, develop IEP goals, group vs. individual counseling, monitor progress, and determine when dismissal from counseling services is appropriate.
Objective: By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify and implement the evaluation process and service delivery for Counseling as a Related Service.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email and professional development records.
