Every district leader knows that school funding is complex — but within that complexity lies opportunity. This workshop, developed in partnership with the Texas Education Agency (TEA), will guide participants through TEA’s “Local Decision Tool”, a practical, interactive model designed to help districts identify and evaluate new sources of state funding. Participants will explore how local decisions—such as attendance, enrollment, tax rates, instructional models, and teacher incentive programs—directly impact district revenue.
