Using CBMs to Establish Baseline Data and Strengthen Impact Statements 26-27

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Curriculum-Based Measures (CBMs) are efficient, evidence-based tools that can strengthen evaluation practices and support clear, data-driven decision making. In this session, participants will learn how CBMs can be used to establish meaningful baseline data, inform eligibility discussions, and strengthen impact statements in Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs). Through examples and practical guidance, participants will explore how CBM data can be integrated with other evaluation information to describe a student’s current performance, connect disability characteristics to grade-level expectations, and support the development of measurable goals and specially designed instruction. Participants will be introduced to several free, widely available CBM resources for reading, writing, and math that can be used for evaluation and progress monitoring.
Attendees will be able to participate in this webinar in their district via the Zoom link provided in the registration confirmation email and professional development records.
