Empowering Student Voice by Fostering Civil Discourse: Presented by Sphere Education

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Difficult conversations are going to happen in our classrooms. The question is: Are our students prepared to have them?

Join Sphere Education for an engaging, hands-on session focused on helping students listen across differences, consider multiple perspectives, ask better questions, and express their own ideas with confidence and respect.

Educators will experience practical strategies for fostering viewpoint-diverse civil discourse and creating a classroom environment where students can explore challenging topics without shutting down or shutting others out. Through interactive activities and collaboration with fellow educators, participants will leave with approaches they can use right away to strengthen student voice, intellectual curiosity, critical thought, and meaningful classroom discussion.
