Lifting Readers Through Shared Reading-Webinar

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Shared reading is a high-impact instructional practice that brings teachers and students together around a common text to build essential literacy skills in a supportive, engaging environment. During shared reading, the teacher models fluent reading while actively involving students in thinking, talking, and responding to the text.

This workshop focuses on how shared reading strengthens reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and print awareness through intentional teacher modeling and structured student participation. Teachers learn how to select appropriate texts, plan purposeful stopping points, and use explicit think-alouds to demonstrate key reading strategies such as predicting, questioning, clarifying, and summarizing.
