Let’s Get Engaged - Engaging Students, Parents, and Others With Sustaining Practices for Distinct Populations 26-27

There are many ethical imperatives for mental health professionals, but one of the most important is that we examine our own biases and knowledge and use sustaining techniques as we work with the students and families of the distinct populations we serve. This session will use simple screening instruments to examine ethical “styles,” knowledge, and biases across distinct populations. We will also explore best practices for student counseling and engagement with parents and others.
Participants will be able to attend this workshop via the Zoom link provided to paid/approved participants in professional development records 1 day prior to the workshop.
