From Middle School Math TEKS to STAAR Success (Beckville ISD)

This session is designed to support Grades 6–8 math teachers in developing a deeper understanding of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the connection to STAAR expectations using TEKS Resource System resources. Participants will unpack the depth and breadth of the standards and analyze STAAR blueprint connections, item types, and student data trends. The session will also focus on identifying common student misconceptions and discussing instructional implications to strengthen student understanding and performance. ***This workshop is exclusively for Beckville ISD.
