An Overview of the Intensity of Services Model 25-26

Join us for an overview of Texas’ new Intensity of Services Funding Model as we explore the shift from placement-based funding to service-based funding using TEA’s New Intensity of Services Funding Model guidance document.
Participants will examine:
• specially designed instruction (SDI),
• the five domains,
• tier determination,
• service groups,
• and PEIMS considerations.
Throughout the session, participants will explore how the ARD process remains centered on student need while learning how documentation and IEP language now play a role in determining tiers and funding.
This workshop is primarily for Lufkin ISD.
