During this workshop, each characteristic of strong phonics instruction is examined from several vantage points. We will examine the background information associated with each characteristic so you have a solid understanding of its research base, and look at best practices associated with each characteristic and ways to identify if you have these in place in your classroom. Proper pronunciation of sounds will be discussed.
