This virtual training provides a deeper look at the McKinney-Vento law and implementation through a combined 101 & 201 session. The 101 segment provides a strong foundation in the McKinney-Vento Act, including identification, enrollment, access, transportation, dispute resolution, and liaison responsibilities. The 201 segment explores family code consent to treatment, truancy prevention, discipline, and webpage best practices—and how they support students experiencing homelessness.
