Substitute Training - Online Course 26-27

This updated online course for new substitutes will allow them to build their skill set as they begin to work with students in the district. This course covers topics such as professionalism, legal issues (confidentiality, student supervision, basic health protocols, child abuse reporting, general student discipline information), and a safety overview. We also include classroom management tips and strategies and include general instructional strategies throughout to help substitutes and teachers get the most out of their day's instruction. Last, we conclude with a walkthrough of a day in the life of a substitute. Substitute teachers should finish this course feeling prepared to enter classrooms with new tools in their toolbelt.
