G/T Online 6-Hour Update: Motivating Underachieving Gifted Students

Underachieving students have a significant gap between their abilities and what they produce and achieve in the classroom. Participants will look at various strategies to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning. Participants will research online sites, answer forum questions, collaborate with peers, and complete assignments by the deadline to receive credit. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update. For questions about registration, please contact the registrar for this workshop at 903-988-6784. This workshop is offered at no charge to all Region 7 ESC districts and charters.
