Giftedness can be easy to recognize when it looks the way we expect. But who might we see if we look differently? This session explores how poverty can influence how giftedness is expressed and recognized, and invites participants to take a closer look at the strengths and potential of students whose abilities may not be immediately apparent.

This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
