G/T 6-Hour Update: When Giftedness Feels Like Too Much

Sometimes gifted learners are perceived as “too much.” Too sensitive. Too intense. Too driven. Too idealistic. This session explores the social and emotional experiences of gifted learners and how these experiences can shape the ways students see themselves and are seen by others. Participants will learn practical strategies for supporting gifted learners through social and emotional challenges. This workshop satisfies the state requirement for the annual G/T 6-hour update.
