TCMPC for Instructional Coaches Day 1: Applying a Coaching Lens to TEKS-Aligned Instruction

This introductory session launches a series of learning experiences designed specifically for instructional coaches. Through realistic coaching scenarios, participants will explore common challenges related to planning, instruction, assessment, and curriculum implementation.

Working collaboratively, coaches will analyze situations, consider possible coaching responses, and make decisions about how best to support teachers while keeping TEKS alignment at the center of instructional improvement. The session establishes a foundation for future learning by connecting effective coaching practices to the use of TCMPC tools that support high-quality, TEKS-aligned planning and instruction.
