AI Governance: Making Informed Decisions in an AI-Powered World - White Oak ISD

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into education, educators need the knowledge to make informed decisions about when, where, and how AI should be used. This session will explore essential AI governance concepts, including data privacy and safeguarding, transparency, human oversight, accuracy and verification, and the responsible use of approved AI tools. Through practical education-based scenarios, participants will learn to evaluate the level of risk associated with AI-supported tasks and identify when additional safeguards or human judgment are necessary. Participants will leave with a practical framework for making responsible, informed decisions about AI use in their everyday work. **This session is for White Oak ISD only.**
