Workshop Registration Details

The Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) is a vital certification exam in Texas, designed to ensure that bilingual educators possess the necessary language skills to effectively teach and support emergent bilingual students. In a state with a significant number of Spanish-speaking students, the BTLPT exam plays a crucial role in assessing teachers’ proficiency in Spanish across listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Passing this exam ensures that educators have the linguistic capability to deliver content in students' native language, fostering a more accessible learning environment.

A direct solution for achieving successful BTLPT scores is a two-fold preparation course. First of all, an intensive solution for the two sections in which test-takers score the lowest: Speaking and Writing. Participants will be ready to significantly increase their scores in a swift timeframe, by viewing specialized video lessons, complemented by practicing with sample BTLPT questions, receiving daily individualized feedback for 6 straight weeks.

Secondly, a flexible software-based solution for the remaining two sections, Reading and Listening, which usually require only additional refining to comply with the specific question formats of the BTLPT.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FREE SESSION. DISTRICTS MUST APPROVE YOUR PARTICIPATION TO ENSURE DIRECT PAYMENT TO TABE. Cost includes registration to the course, plus a $50 preliminary assessment fee per person. All sessions and online platform are completely in Spanish.
