Join TABE’s New Bilingual & ESL Administrators Mentorship Program, a virtual professional experience designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and connections you need to thrive in your new leadership role. The Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) is a vital certification exam in Texas, designed to ensure that bilingual educators possess the necessary language skills to effectively teach and support emergent bilingual students. In a state with a significant number of Spanish-speaking students, the BTLPT exam plays a crucial role in assessing teachers’ proficiency in Spanish across listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Passing this exam ensures that educators have the linguistic capability to deliver content in students' native language, fostering a more accessible learning environment. A direct solution for achieving successful BTLPT scores is a two-fold preparation course. First of all, an intensive solution for the two sections in which test-takers score the lowest: Speaking and Writing. Participants will be ready to significantly increase their scores in a swift timeframe, by viewing specialized video lessons, complemented by practicing with sample BTLPT questions, receiving daily personalized feedback for 6 straight weeks. Secondly, a proprietary software-based solution loaded with hundreds of Reading and Listening questions similar in format and content as the official BTLPT exam, featuring immediate automated feedback for each inaccurate answer choice, which constructively improves the student’s grasp of the intricacies of BTLPT questions. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FREE SESSION. DISTRICTS MUST APPROVE YOUR PARTICIPATION TO ENSURE DIRECT PAYMENT TO TABE.
