"Discovering and Unleashing the Power of the Building Blocks of Phonics and Spelling Instruction in the Spanish Language Arts Classroom"

Are your school or classroom practices aligned with the Science of Reading? Join us as we explore the building blocks of phonics and spelling instruction in the Spanish Language Arts Classroom that will impact your students' reading and writing skills.

In this Institute, we will:
Examine the relationship between phonological awareness, phonics, and spelling for literacy development.
Identify, practice, and apply evidence-based phonics and spelling routines aligned with the science of reading to enhance encoding and decoding instruction.
Discover the power of decodable books to reinforce phonics skills and decoding habits for early readers.

This session will be delivered in English and Spanish. This institute is appropriate for early elementary bilingual teachers, instructional coaches, and leaders.
