Closing the Gap with Shared Reading

In this session teachers will learn about the differences between a read aloud, a shared reading, and a guided reading lesson. The focus will be on shared reading and its benefits according to Fountas & Pinnell. Teachers will be able to plan out and deliver an effective and intentional shared reading lesson by learning how to select age appropriate literature and skills.
