Dual Language Training Institute for Administrators

This administrator training focuses on the long-term academic and linguistic
benefits of DLE and the role of the campus administrator to monitor and support fidelity of DLE program implementation in DLE
classrooms to maximize the academic outcomes of all learners in the program. Key program components and enrichment (GT) best
practices embedded in the Gomez & Gómez Elementary DLE program will be shared from the lens of the administrator to support
raising academic rigor and student achievement such as: Print-Rich DLE Classroom (labels, word walls, student-generated alphabets);
Use of Bilingual Pairs & Groups; Challenging, Interactive and Authentic (CIA) Lessons (DLE Lesson Cycle); BLCs; BRCs; and SVE
activities (Bridging Vocabulary).
