5th & 6th Grade Dual Language Science Training

This training will prepare educators to effectively support multilingual learners in science classrooms by introducing a user-friendly translation tool that provides word-for-word translations of key academic science terms used throughout the school year. Participants will also receive 30–36 instructional slide decks featuring essential vocabulary, clear definitions, and visual aids to reinforce student comprehension. The specialist will guide teachers on how to integrate the tool into their instruction and offer targeted support to enhance science teaching practices and student engagement.
