Youth Mental Health Training

Texas mandates youth mental health training for school staff through House Bill 3 (HB 3), requiring all school employees who regularly interact with students to complete evidence-based mental health training by the 2028-2029 school year. The requirement sets phased annual targets, starting with 25% of employees trained by the 2025-2026 school year, and progressing to 100% by the 2028-2029 school year.
