Engaging Thriving Writers

Complete Attendance

Teachers will have the opportunity to observe a model writing lesson or coteach one with Michael Salinger or Sara Holbrook. They will also have time to debrief with the authors about the book From Striving to Thriving Writers. Teachers will have their questions answered about strategies they learned in the August session, saw in the lesson this day, or read about in the book. Michael and Sara will also provide support and ensure teachers are able to understand and apply what they learned. The feedback session will give teachers time to troubleshoot lessons they need more support on to enhance student engagement in writing.
