Aspiring Principal Fellowship

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

The Aspiring Principal Fellowship is a professional development cohort designed to prepare selected assistant principals for campus leadership roles. Participants engage in targeted professional learning sessions focused on leadership development, as outlined in the Los Fresnos CISD Profile of a Leader. These
sessions are designed to enhance their skills in key principal competencies such as strategic decision-making, communication, and organizational management. In addition to classroom-based learning, fellows participate in hands-on, on-the-job shadowing experiences.
During these shadowing opportunities, aspiring principals are paired with current principals who demonstrate proficiency in specific leadership competencies, providing real-world exposure to effective campus leadership and operations.
