THRIVE New Mentor Academy – Part II will strengthen mentors’ capacity to lead with an asset-based mindset by recognizing and reframing deficit language, applying practical strategies, and practicing student-centered coaching conversations. Mentors will also focus on building strong, caring, and responsive relationships with their mentees by identifying strengths, clarifying expectations, and developing a plan for meaningful mentor-mentee meetings that create a solid foundation for growth and support.
