College and Career Center Essentials: Texas Graduation and Post-Secondary Planning

This professional learning session equips College & Career Center staff and counselors with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively support students as they prepare for life after high school. Participants will review current Texas graduation requirements, college admissions expectations, College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) indicators, financial aid updates, and postsecondary planning processes that help students successfully transition to their next step. Through collaborative discussions and resource sharing, participants will strengthen their understanding of district expectations, state requirements, and effective strategies for ensuring every student graduates prepared for college, a career, military service, or other postsecondary pathways.
