EmpowerED: Sports in Action: Enhancing GO Activities with CATCH

In this professional development session, coaches will gain hands-on strategies to effectively integrate sports into the CATCH curriculum. The training will focus on designing and implementing GO activities for basketball, floor hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, softball, and badminton.
Participants will learn how to:

Incorporate CATCH principles into sports-based lessons.

Promote physical activity and teamwork through engaging GO activities.

Adapt sports-based activities for students of all skill levels and abilities.

Use CATCH resources to create a fun, inclusive, and active learning
environment.

By the end of the session, coaches will leave with practical tools and creative ideas to seamlessly blend sports and GO activities, making physical education both educational and exciting for students.
