Instant Words versus Sight and Dolch Words: The Benefits for the Struggling Reader (virtual session)

In this virtual session, you will learn the difference between the Instant Words, Sight Words, and Dolch Words. You will learn how to use this information to address the needs of struggling readers in a virtual RTI or MTSS setting. This session is appropriate for teachers Grades k - 12. This session is limited to full-time employees of Region One service area public and charter schools. The activities presented are for students who are learning to read in English. To participate, you must sign in to the ZOOM session no later than 5 minutes after the start of the session. Also, make sure your sign-in is recorded in the Region One website, available 15 minutes prior to the start of the session and no later than 5 minutes past the start of the session. To adequately capture your participation, all attendees are required to sign into Zoom with a camera on the person.

Full-time employees of a Region One area school district. K-12 teachers, librarians, interventionists, central office staff.
