Presenter: Dr. Maria V. Boccalandro, Director of Sustainability and Programs, Dallas College – Cedar Valley Campus. In the face of limited resources and great need, how can we foster healthy and vibrant communities at STC and the Rio Grande Valley now and still steward our resources for the well-being of future generations? In this session, Dr. Boccalandro will share the approaches Dallas College has developed to integrate sustainability principles in courses, increase awareness in students, faculty and staff, influence campus operations and build community partnerships for a more sustainable future.
