ET Academy - Teaching Made Easy: Microsoft Teams for Faculty

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This training is designed to introduce participants to Microsoft Teams, starting with a broad overview of the platform’s features and capabilities. We will explore the core functions that make Teams a powerful tool for communication, collaboration, and productivity across different environments. Participants will learn how to create and manage Teams, channels, and meetings, as well as how to utilize file sharing, chat, and app integrations.

In the second half of the session, the focus will shift to using Microsoft Teams in an educational context. We’ll demonstrate how to set up and manage a Teams classroom, including organizing assignments, collaborating with students, and using Teams' tools to facilitate interactive lessons. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with practical knowledge to confidently use Teams in both professional and academic settings.
