Bundled Grading

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join Sean Kennedy, a History Faculty at South Texas College, to learn more about a different paradigm for assessing students. Traditional grading methods using points or percentages can be confusing for students and typically create unnecessary tension between students and instructors. Bundled grading involves grouping related tasks
or skills into bundles aligned with specific grades, providing more guidance on how students can achieve an A, B or C. This approach provides students with greater choice, autonomy and clear expectations. For instructors, this method streamlines grading, reduces stress, and saves valuable time so more time and energy can be
focused on teaching. Bundled grading offers a viable alternative worthy of exploration.
