Fix It with Bb Ally: Improving Accessibility in Your Blackboard Course

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This session gives faculty a practical introduction to Anthology Ally and how it works inside Blackboard to strengthen the accessibility of course materials. We’ll explore Ally’s guidance tools, including indicators, feedback panels, alternative formats, and file improvement suggestions that walk you through fixes for PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and other common file types. You’ll also learn how to design accessible presentations and documents by using clear structure, readable fonts, proper color contrast, and meaningful headings. By the end of the session, you’ll understand how Ally supports inclusive course design and how to create and share accessible PowerPoint and PDF files that help every student succeed.
