Classroom Interventions for Neurodiverse Learners

Faculty play a crucial role in creating an atmosphere where every student can thrive. Faculty may or may not be informed of their students' neurodiversity, and faculty wonder about student behaviors and how best to support their success. Join Fonda Ginsburg, a faculty member specializing in neurodiversity, who will lead a discussion on classroom experiences and share ideas for understanding and working with neurodiverse learners. In addition, you'll learn about proactive and positive behavioral management strategies that can support self-regulation and social well-being. After this workshop, participants will understand certain behaviors, learn to recognize a student's needs, and increase their knowledge of behavioral interventions for these students.
