Collecting, Integrating, and Including Informal Data in the FIE

Dr. Edward Schultz from Midwestern University will be discussing how changes in specific learning disability identification are occurring at a pace that is unprecedented. Recent TEA guidance has made it clear of an increased emphasis on using informal data and a decreased emphasis on norm-referenced tests to make decisions. This session will focus on these changes and exactly where and how to use informal data and be able to communicate your findings in a well-developed FIE Report based on a variety of assessment tools and strategies.
