Behavior Bites: Fading Back Supports

In this session of Behavior Bites, we will learn about how and when to fade back supports with our students. When we implement new interventions to teach new skills the intervention can feel like a lot. That is not our ultimate goal! The ultimate goal is for the student to learn the new skill and become independent. We have to start with a strong reinforcer that is often given to the student, and then fade back that support, so that the student can be independent.
