Through the Lens of CTE: Mentor and Coaching Training for Educators

A series of six zoom based professional development opportunities with Marie Riley. The process of mentoring fellow educators is both exciting and challenging. This interactive workshop will provide tools and strategies to promote enhanced professional development for mentor teachers, new and experienced teachers; while at the same time learning strategies to improve student learning across the curriculum.
During this training, educators at all levels will be introduced to beginning and experienced teacher development, as well as leave with an understanding about the phases and stages that all teachers go throughout their educational experience and ways in which we can support each other. Additionally, the following topics will be included in the training: teacher induction issues, needs of new and experienced teachers, developmental levels of concern, developmental mentoring. This training will be paired with coaching training in order to learning new strategies for leading and learning from structured conversations with each other.
