Fluency is a key building block in the development of proficient readers, and this workshop is designed to empower educators with strategies for fostering reading fluency in their students. Participants will learn about fluency development, explore evidence-based practices, and gain practical insights into creating a classroom environment that nurtures fluent readers. By the end of the workshop, educators will be equipped with fluency strategies and assessment methods that will enhance their student’s reading accuracy, rate, and prosody while leading to improvements in reading comprehension and overall literacy skills.
