Quest: Beyond the Hype: Choosing Effective, Science-Based Autism Interventions and Programs

Quest: Unpacking Neurodiversity & Autism in Public Education: In the wake of the rise in autism incidence, autism interventions, programs, and treatments have also increased. Generally, professionals recognize the importance of effective programs. Nevertheless, numerous unsupported treatments lack proof. As well as being time-consuming and ineffective, such programs exploit educators' and caregivers' emotional vulnerabilities and resources.
During this virtual session, we will discuss how to identify questionable intervention programs and how to best focus our attention on evidence-based programs and resources. In this informative and engaging session, educators and caregivers of learners with autism will gain valuable insights into identifying and combating misinformation and unproven interventions.
