Supporting Kinship Families in Education: A Trauma-Informed Approach

This workshop, led by Patrick Dierschke, will focus on: (1) The unique dynamics of kinship families and their impact on student learning, (2) Trauma-informed teaching strategies to support children facing adversity, (2) Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) principles for building strong relationships in the classroom, and (3) Best practices for collaborating with kinship caregivers to create a supportive learning environment.
