SENSING SCIENCE: CIRCUITS, CODING, AND CRITICAL THINKING WITH STEMACES

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Explore how middle and early high school students are using circuits, sensors, and a freely available web app to investigate real-world science phenomena through the STEMACES program and the Learning by Making platform. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how students build and code devices to collect and analyze real-world data—deepening their understanding of science concepts while developing problem-solving and computational thinking skills. We’ll also introduce a practical framework for identifying student activities that support computational thinking, giving you tools to design your own STEM-rich, inquiry-driven learning experiences.
