LIFE SCIENCE WORKSHOPS FOR SCIENCE TEACHERS

In this workshop we will provide educators with activities and materials that can be used in middle school and high school life science classes. Broadly, the topics covered will include ecology techniques for marking, recapturing, and estimating animal populations; and low-cost hydroponics and plant physiology. The information, activities, and field trips will be applicable to many TEKS in 6-12th grade Science, Biology, Animal Science, Plant Science, and STEM. Workshop and classroom materials are being provided by Halliburton. On-campus housing with meal plan is available for free – please contact stem-outreach@angelo.edu
