WRITING WITH INTELLIGENCE: BLENDING HUMAN INSIGHT AND AI TOOLS

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we read, write, and think—but where does it fit in a middle or high school ELA classroom? In this interactive workshop, teachers will explore practical strategies from AI in the Writing Workshop: Find the Write Balance to help students leverage AI as a tool for growth without losing their authentic voice. Participants will examine real classroom examples, try out AI-supported writing practices, and leave with ready-to-use ideas for lesson design, scaffolding, and assessment. The focus will be on striking a healthy balance: preparing students to use AI responsibly, creatively, and critically while still centering the human skills of reading, writing, and thinking that matter most.

*Please bring your laptop/chromebook with you.
**Participants will have to sign up for some of the AI applications to participate.
