Making Math Make Sense: Multisensory Strategies for K–8 Classrooms

This 2-day training taught by Vonna McFarling, LDT, CALT, is designed to teach multisensory math teaching techniques to math instructors, teachers, tutors, academic language therapists and practitioners with the goal being to help students gain access to math concepts through multiple senses. Participants will receive a digital resource binder, make & take resources, technology integration ideas, and ways to incorporate math across the curriculum. Multiple opportunities to reflect on areas of instruction will occur throughout the two-days. The two days will focus on *Counting & Numeration, * Addition & Subtraction, * Multiplication & Division, *Fractions, *Decimals, Percentages, & Money, * Problem Solving & Word Problems, *Equations/Equations in Algebra, *Geometry & Measurement, *Technology & Math Centers, and *Math Across the Curriculum
