SUPPORTING GIFTED AND TALENTED LEARNERS IN CTE CLASSROOMS

During this session, participants will discover ways to support Gifted and Talented learners in the CTE classroom and how these two programs work together for student success. An overview of G/T and CTE supports available from the Texas Education Agency, characteristics of gifted learners, and ways to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of gifted learners will be included. This course meets the annual 6-hour refresher requirement for teachers who provide services as part of the designated gifted program and participants may choose to receive either CPE or GT credit.
